Dreaming Big: Singapore Gifted Young Musicians Concert by Braddell Heights Symphony Orchestra

Since 1997, the Braddell Heights Symphony Orchestra has organized the Gifted Young Musicians Concert (GYMC) to provide impetus in the area of future young leaders in the area of music.

A “Gifted Young Musicians’ Bursary” under the auspices and administration of the National Arts Council was set up so that gifted young Singapore music talents below the age of 18, an opportunity to pursue special music studies here and overseas.

Over the years, BHSO has continued the tradition of nurturing youths in Singapore with similar concerts in 2002, 2004 and 2006. Many more young talented musicians have made their debut solo performance in the Singapore Gifted Young Musicians series.
