Jurassic Park IV to be released in 2015

In May it was announced that Jurassic Park IV was put on hold, a decision that disaapointed fans of the franchise everywhere. The last Jurassic Park movie, Jurassic Park III, was released in 2001.

But now it seems that the fourth entry into the franchise has, to quote the iconic Ian Malcolm character from the first two films, "found a way".

According to IGN, the film has been moved to 2015. Sources have also claimed that director legend Steven Spielberg, the director of the first two films, will serve as executive producer. he wil also work with director Colin Trevorrow on the script before moving on to his next movie, American Sniper.

However, Universal Studios has denied any comment on the new release date, so the 2015 release could turn out to be nothing but a rumour.

If it is indeed slated for a 2015 release, Jurassic Park IV will join a wave of blockbuster installments all set to release that year, including Star Wars: Episode VII, Marvel's The Avengers 2, Pirates Of The Caribbean 5 and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2.
